Concerts
Lauren organized and performed a free will donation concert benefiting The Sheridan Story. The Sheridan Story works to combat hunger in their community by providing food for students to take home each weekend of the school year. Lauren was very excited to perform some of her favorite musical theatre and opera selections. The concert and silent auction was held on September 9th, 2017 at Mercy Vineyard Church in Minneapolis. Lauren was able to raise $2,000 to help end childhood hunger. Thanks to all who attended.
Lauren organized and performed a charity concert at Messiah Lutheran Church in North Mankato that raised $2,875. All proceeds were divided between the BackPack Food Program and Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals to further their great work.
Lauren organized and performed a free-will donation concert benefiting FOCP and Partners for Affordable Housing in Mankato, MN. The concert was held October 7th in the Chapel at Our Lady of Good Counsel. The concert raised $3,800 for these wonderful organizations. To view the concert online, click Here.
Nursing Home Recitals
Lauren performs regularly at nursing hones and assisted living facilities throughout Southern Minnesota. Sharing a variety of musical theatre, classical songs, and of her original poetry.
Treat Stand
Lauren Senden's 12th Annual Treat Stand Fundraiser - 2018
Lauren had her 12th annual Treat Stand fundraiser at the end of her driveway Saturday, June 2nd. All proceeds of $3,025 went to the local BackPack Food Program. This donation brings Lauren's total charitable giving to $24,005

Lauren was recently honored as an AXA scholarship winner for her work on her Treat Stand.

2018 Young Pathfinder Award Recipient
The Young Pathfinder Award was created in 2002 to recognize the hard work, commitment and courage displayed by area young people and organizations of young people as they strive, in the spirit of Dr. King, to achieve fair and equal treatment for all, healthy communities and peaceful resolution to conflicts. The 2018 Young Pathfinder Award recipient was Lauren Senden.
Teens in Action
Lauren was especially honored to receive the 2017 Tracie Joy McBride Scholarship Fund - Teens in Action Award.
Miss Mankato's Outstanding Teen 2017
Lauren was crowned Miss Mankato's Outstanding Teen in December 2016. Through performances, speaking engagements, and volunteering, her year of service allowed her to share her passions with purpose.
